Digital fine art series by Allec – created in Shanghai, Spring 2025
The first lines appeared on a digital canvas suspended fifty-two floors above Shanghai, with the city pulsing below and the Bund stretching across the window like a living scroll. It was spring. The air shimmered between seasons. The skyline flickered with coded light, and in the silence of that altitude, the faces began to surface.
Not portraits, but presences. Not representations, but reflections—coded, fragmented, and alive. Each face arrived without invitation, as if remembered from somewhere deeper than memory. Some came as static. Others, as whispered symbols. They carried no names, only signals.
Drawn between glances at the world below and the stillness above, these works belong to that liminal altitude where thought slows down and something else—older, sharper—takes over. Faces of Code is a sequence of transmissions from that space in between: between you and the screen, between the visible and the known.
He holds heat the way others hold breath. Burn pulses through red and cobalt like a warning left too long on-screen. His outline flickers, unstable, beautiful.
He’s not angry. He’s saturated. If you get too close, he won’t explode—he’ll stay with you.
